Timer app on Apple Watch doesn't load/work

When I try to load the timer app on my Watch, it hangs and then crashes back out to the icon screen.

In watchOS 2.1 and 2.2, it would load a blank background of the timer (a large circle and two smaller circles) but no text and completely inoperarable.

Now that I've updated to watchOS 3, it loads a spinning ring around the timer app icon for 10ish seconds, then crashes back to the icon screen.

I've reset the watch, updated it to the latest OS version several times, and even unpaired and repaired it with my phone.

I'm using a 42mm sport, Watch 1.

Any ideas?

Hi

If you are referring to the built-in Timer app then, given the steps that you have already tried, I suggest that you contact Apple Support or make a Genius Bar reservation with a view to having your watch checked and, if recommended by Apple, serviced (whether under warranty or via chargeable, out-of-warranty service):

To check your warranty status (the serial number is on the back of your watch):

If you are instead referring to a third-party app, then I suggest that you check for and install any available updates and, if the issue persists, contact the app developer for assistance.
